Q-Folly

I thought it was funny. I thought it was funny how odd and disturbing the whole experience was. I was only seven years old when I saw her. My mother and I lived in a large cul-de-sac  that had a long stretch of road that served as both an entrance and exit. It sat right behind the woods. All of the houses were old and small but were very comfortable and safe. There was one small blue house next to us that always fascinated me, though. Sometimes at night I would hear shrieks and laughing coming from the house. My mom has talked to the owner. She was a thirty-something-year-old widow who claims she has lived in the blue house for a long time.

Introduction I walked out of the mall with Erin, giggling at what we just saw."Wow. That was sooo weird. Where did that rose come from?" Erin asked. "I don't know, but that store clerk was awfully confused when she found it in her dress pocket!" I laughed. We walked to her her car and started the engine.
